Delete Your Account

At CountVerse, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your CountVerse account and all associated data, you can do so at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to initiate the process.
1. What Data Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers:
- Profile Information — Your name, email address, avatar, and all account preferences.
- Workspaces — All workspaces you own, including their settings and configurations.
- Counters & Categories — Every counter, category, and associated counter log/history entry.
- Team Memberships — Your membership in any workspace team; if you are the sole owner, the workspace is also deleted.
- API Keys — All API keys you generated are permanently revoked and removed.
- Reports & Exports — All saved reports, scheduled report configurations, and export history.
- Webhook Configurations — Any webhook endpoints and delivery logs.
- Notification Preferences — All push notification tokens and email notification settings.
- Subscription & Billing Records — Your subscription status is canceled and billing records are anonymized in accordance with financial record-keeping laws.
2. Data Retention Exceptions
In compliance with applicable financial regulations and legal obligations, we may retain anonymized transaction records (invoice amounts and dates only, with no personally identifiable information) for up to 7 years after deletion, as required by law.
If you used CountVerse as a guest (without creating an account), your data is stored only on your local device and is not stored on our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser data will remove all guest data.
3. How to Delete Your Account
Option A — From the Mobile App
- Open the CountVerse app on your Android or iOS device.
- Navigate to the Settings tab (gear icon in the bottom navigation).
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section.
- Tap "Delete Account".
- You will be asked to type your workspace name to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
Option B — From the Web Dashboard
- Sign in to your CountVerse account at countverseapp.com/dashboard.
- Go to Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section.
- Click "Delete Workspace".
- Type the workspace name to confirm, then click "Permanently Delete".
- Once all workspaces are deleted, your account profile data will be purged automatically within 24 hours.
Option C — Via Email Request
If you are unable to access your account or prefer manual assistance, you can email us directly at support@countverseapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your CountVerse account.
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and all data have been permanently removed.
4. Processing Timeframe
- Self-service (App or Web): Account and data deletion is processed immediately. Cached data in CDNs may take up to 24 hours to fully purge.
- Email request: Processed within 3 business days.
5. Active Subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription (Starter or Premium Scale), deleting your account will automatically cancel your subscription. No further charges will be made. However, please note that we do not provide partial refunds for the remaining billing period. We recommend canceling your subscription before deleting your account if you wish to continue using CountVerse until the end of your billing cycle.
⚠️ This Action Is Irreversible
Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your data, counters, reports, or any associated content. We strongly recommend exporting your data (Settings → Data & Export) before proceeding with account deletion.
